21-year-old Australian vocalist Riian Jolee (pronounced “Ryan”) presents her new single “Broken Road”, produced by Greg Ogan. From the age of 8, Riian began studying opera, musical theatre and training for acting in film. In August 2007, Riian relocated to the United States to attend the Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA), graduating in 2009 with a major in music & theatre, moving on to study contemporary vocal training under the instruction of Billy Purnell. Riian continued her acting training in the US, completing instruction at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) and private acting coaching. Since relocating to America, Riian has performed at the Honda Center, the Angel’s Stadium and private MTV events. She has performed national anthems for the Los Angeles Angels, the Anaheim Ducks, the Professional Bull Riding world championship and the Drift circuit. In 2011 Riian teamed up with Grammy-award winning producers The MIDI Mafia (the producers behind records for Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, Frank Ocean, Brandy, Cee-Lo Green and more) to develop her as a solid artist and performer. In 2012, Riian and The MIDI Mafia began creating an EP of original music, titled Nameless and a full suite of visual content, with the initial release of “Angels & Demons” in May 2012, of which the remix was recently released, along with a cover of the Daughter song “Youth”. Riian’s album Nameless is slated to be released in spring 2013.
