Soul Tools Entertainment is proud to announce the newest addition to its growing roster, Detroit’s own The Regiment. With accolades that include a nod from DJ Premier (Top 25 albums of 2011 Honorable Mention) members OSI and IseQold are expanding their rapidly growing audience through this new partnership. The Regiment was first introduced to the masses through Rawkus Records “Rawkus 50” compilation. The Regiment’s passionate lyrics and dead on delivery blend with boom bap beat selection that will make any Hip-Hop head hit repeat.

Through a chance meeting with Toki Wright (Rhymesayers) at the AC3 Independent Hip-Hop Festival in Atlanta a conversation began about bridging the gap between Detroit and Twin Cities Hip-Hop. Their track “The Soulution” is the first of many collaborations and releases from the new comrades. “The Soulution” is produced by Nick Speed (50 Cent, Tupac Shakur, Musiq Soulchild).
