You might recognize California-based minimalist punk artist Vex Ruffin’s “Take It” from a recent episode of HBO’s “Girls”; the song is also set to be released on flexi disc as a part of our free flexidisc series with L.A. Record. Fun facts: Vex is a UPS driver by day, and he’s the only artist to ever be signed to Stones Throw on the strength of an unsolicited demo.
