Kosha Dillz & Shemspeed release Munich 72, a new free download, dedicated to 11 Israeli athletes murdered at 1972 Olympics

Every four years athletes and audiences from around the world come together to celebrate and compete in the Olympics. In 1972, just forty years ago, in Munich Germany, the Olympics were struck with hate and terror. Black September, a Palestinian terrorist group snuck into the Olympic village and kidnapped and killed 11 Israeli Athletes. Later that year, Operation Wrath of God, was a plan that unleashed attacks in retaliation to kill all Terrorists involved in Munich massacre one by one around the world.

This August 2012, the IOC denied a moment of silence in the opening ceremony for the 11 Israelis that were killed in Germany. It has become the source of much discontent in the Jewish community around the world and questions the existence of anti-Semitism that exists within the IOC. Jewish American gold medalist Aly Raisman has spoken out against it and many news sources continue to cover it.

Kosha Dillz, an American Israeli rapper, interprets the 2005 film directed by Steve Spielberg and penned the song “Munich 72” for remembrance of, not only the fallen athletes of Israel, but a detailed description of how each terrorist is revenged. The purpose of the song is to remember the evil deeds committed so long ago, so that the event of hatred may never happen again on a field of peace and healthy competition.
