Grieves exclusively premieres “Boogie Man” video today on mtvU. The video, directed by Maria Juranic, was shot in 24 hours in upstate NY. According to Grieves and Budo the formula for success was a combination of, “sleep deprivation + incredible direction + the most talented child actor I’ve ever seen.” This aggregation created, “a truly special thing filled with innocence, intrigue, and a window back into the part of childhood that we remember with joy and terror all at once.” Check out the video HERE.

“Boogie Man” comes off the recently released Together/Apart album, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart earlier this year. Grieves and Budo describe the song by saying, “The dynamics in the song are unique…it sort of toys with you, quietly invites you in, talks to you sweetly, and then, just as you’ve settled in, it shoots you to the moon. It’s powerful, and I love it.”
