Animal Farm “What I Do” **Video**

For many years, flourishing artists experiencing success are often faced with criticism and sometimes disdain. Since releasing Culture Shock, the Portland Hip-Hop group Animal Farm has been met with a predominately great response and an increased interest in their music. However, no accomplishments come without naysayers. Animal Farm’s funky new video “What I Do” is a story, loosely based on a handful of newer artists, who are not so happy about the group’s success. In this satirical video, which was directed by Phil Haleen, the group maintains the message that they are focused and will just keep “doing what they do”.

After being featured on hundreds of major blogs, Animal Farm was highlighted in the USA Today this past week alongside artists such as Drake, Brian McKnight, Alicia Keys, and more. Animal Farm’s new album Culture Shock, which features Talib Kweli, Rob Swift, Abstract Rude, and DJ Wicked, was also the #1 Added Hip-Hop album this week, according to the CMJ College Radio Charts. Despite all of the recent achievements, it seems like this is just the beginning for Animal Farm.
