A brief look at hip-hop beatmaker Jinesis creating beat “Now I know” from Labi Siffre’s record “My Song” (the same record KanYe West sampled for his song “I Wonder”). The challenge was to flip the sample loop differently from West’s popular record into a beat with a completely different feel and pace. Interestingly enough, a beat with a relatively upbeat pace was crafted from such a laid back. This was shot on location at Jinesis’s home studio in November 2010.
