Exhibit Cleveladelphia serves as a brief introduction of what is to come from up and coming hip hop artist Jalal. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Jalal went through some life altering events in Philadelphia, PA that turned him into a man. He has only been doing music for about 3 years thanks to the help and encouragement of a few very talented MCs out of Erie, PA and Philadelphia PA. They helped him find a hidden talent that he never knew was there. God blessed him with the ability to lyrically express concepts and messages to who ever is willing to listen. Though he is a hip hop artist, he doesn’t consider himself to be rapper. He thinks of himself as more of a poet or lyricist. He is highly influenced by artists like: Lauryn Hill, Tupac, Biggie, Big L, Big Pun, Rakim, Cee-lo, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, and the list goes on.
