“1985….the year her womb shattered and I came alive” EnSilence the MC and poet at heart was surrounded by her close knit family and was raised in Harbor Heights projects. In high school hip hop was flowing fluidly through her veins and continuously flooded the crammed pages of her notebook. Her lyrics and style are a vivid reflection that stems from trials and tribulations of lifes struggle but also symbolizes her undying love for God and the hip hop culture. Music has always played a major part in her life, in fact it all began with her grandfather who was the lead guitarist and vocalist in the church choir. Those same genes that were planted in her grandfather are the same ones that developed quickly into an undeniable passion to let her pen speak……..
