Being American Indian, alcoholism is something that has plagued my family for generations on both sides. It’s a disease that’s ripped the community apart for many years and something I don’t see going away anytime soon. I myself have had to pull back the reigns on my drinking a few times in my life to keep from falling into the same pattern. I’ve never been somebody to need many vices. I don’t do drugs at all (yes, I’m an MC and no, I don’t smoke weed). So I wrote this song in tribute to my favorite little crutch. – WEB
