Here’s the second leak from the God’s Favorites album. Again, it’s hard for me to pick particular songs since the whole album runs like a cohesive story and these songs are really just tiny pieces of a larger picture. This song in particular I wrote about the junkie/drug relationship. Not a lot of people know this but my home city (Vancouver) is one of the drug capitals of the Western World. Having grown up in this atmosphere I have witnessed many times the permanent effects that certain drugs can have on a person’s physical, mental and spiritual being. Most of the people I grew up with ended up falling into the lifestyle at some point in time or another. So I wanted to dive in and write a song from the perspective of the drug itself and try to shed light on the personal relationship between the addict and the vice. The drug I chose for this song was heroin since it’s the drug that I’ve seen do the most damage to my city. Web & I.D.e.A are God’s Favorites hits iTunes on 11/17. – Web
